OnePlus serie 8 riceve una nuova Open Beta: arrivano le patch di aprile e tanti bug fix (aggiornato: Open Beta 4 per 8T)

Open Beta 4 per 8T

Dopo solo un mese dall'ultimo update della Open Beta della OxygenOS basata su Android 11, OnePlus ha aggiornato i dispositivi della serie 8. In particolare, per OnePlus 8 e 8 Pro si tratta della Open Beta 9, mentre per OnePlus 8T si tratta della Open Beta 3.

L'aggiornamento ha un peso di circa 400MB e le novità sono soprattutto sotto al cofano: arrivano le patch di sicurezza di aprile e vengono risolti tantissimi bug e problemi presenti nella OxygenOS: tra questi, abbiamo quello che riguarda le icone non visualizzate nella status bar, gli screenshot estesi che vengono bloccati in modo anomalo e problemi vari dell'Always On Display. Unica vera aggiunta è la funzione Data Monitor in Game Toolbox, che consente di controllare in tempo reale l'andamento di CPU, GPU e FPS.

Queste Open Beta sono già disponibili come aggiornamento OTA, ma nel caso in cui vogliate installare l'aggiornamento completo manualmente, potete scaricare i firmware in formato zip da queste pagine.

L'azienda ha confermato che il rollout della Open Beta 3 per OnePlus 8T è stato annullato per via di alcuni bug molto importanti. Nella giornata di oggi è quindi stata rilasciata la Open Beta 4 per 8T, che porta lo stesso changelog della versione precedente e dovrebbe risolvere i bug appena citati. È possibile fare l'aggiornamento alla Open Beta 4 sia dalla Open Beta 2 che dalla Open Beta 3.

- Newly added the Data Monitor feature, you can find it in the Game Toolbox and monitor the FPS/CPU/GPU changes in real-time
