Con l'ultima beta di Tasker potete automatizzare il modo in cui contattate i vostri amici (video)
Quando si parla di app Android per automatizzare e personalizzare i comportamenti dello smartphone c'è un nome che sale alla mente prima di qualunque altro: Tasker. Grazie a un potenziale quasi illimitato, Tasker si è imposta come L'app per fare quasi ogni cosa (il caffè rimane ancora escluso). L'ultima versione beta in particolare aggiunge parecchie novità, che potete leggere nel changelog completo a fine articolo, tra cui ve ne segnaliamo un paio davvero degne di nota.
La prima si chiama "Contact Via App" e consente di scegliere un contatto e un'applicazione o un comando da abbinare. Una volta impostato il contatto rapido, vi basterà un tap per avviare una chiamata via Skype, una videochiamata su WhatsApp o anche lanciare le indicazioni stradali per raggiungere la casa della persona in questione (non prima che sia terminata la quarantena!).
L'altra novità riguarda invece l'integrazione del protocollo VPN WireGuard, recentemente aggiunto nel Kernel Linux.
Si tratta di un protocollo dedicato alla gestione dei tunnel VPN e può essere gestito tramite l'apposita app (presente anche sul Play Store). Nel caso in cui abbiate un kernel custom, l'integrazione rende molto più agevole attivare/disattivare i tunnel VPN. Per esempio, l'operazione può essere configurata in base alla geolocalizzazione. Questo video vi chiarirà come impostare il tutto.
Queste e le altre novità sono disponibili al momento solo per gli utenti che appartengono al canale beta, se volete aderire al test e provarle in anteprima, potete iscrivervi direttamente tramite il Play Store (cliccando qui) e scaricando poi l'ultima versione di Tasker dal badge di seguito.

- Added Event filter to File Modified event so that you can react to just a single event instead of all of them
- Changed %evtprm(1) for File Modified event from the path that is being monitored to the path of the actual file that changed
- Allow File Modified event to work with variables in the File Modified field
- Added %evtprm() to the variable list in actions that are in a profile that has an event condition
- Added Wait For File Event function to Tasker Function action so that you can wait for example for a file to finish writing
- Made moving projects left and right easier by asking how many positions you want to move the project instead of having to move 1 by 1
- Fixed issues with clipboard getting while in the background
- Fixed taking screenshots on Android 10, shouldn't show the prompt on the screenshot anymore
- Fixed HTTP Request action when a gzipped response was gotten. Now automatically unzips it
- Fixed automatic redirections in HTTP Request action in some cases
- Added line separators in List Dialog action
- Made Get Sims action in Tasker Function action request the READ_PHONE_STATE permission
- Added Biometric permission to kid apps if needed
- Added tip about List Dialog action when using the Menu action
- Tried to make Tasker only check for root access if root actions are used
