Sebbene arrivi a stretto giro rispetto al precedente, il nuovo aggiornamento della Paranoid Android è più importante di quanto potreste pensare. La nuova versione 7.2.1, oltre a risolvere svariati bug e problemi, porta con sé un carico di belle novità per la custom ROM, che potrebbero far comodo a molti utenti.

Prima di tutto, la vecchia animazione di accensione in stile Marshmallow è stata sostituita da una nuova boot animation, completamente inedita, ed è stata introdotta una nuova gesture che consente di catturare sreenshot facendo uno swipe in basso con tre dita.

Buone notizie anche per quanto riguarda i nuovi dispositivi supportati ufficialmente, dove spicca la presenza del caro vecchio Nexus 5 e di due smartphone Sony, nella fattispecie Xperia X e X Compact.

Oltre ai miglioramenti per browser, telefonia e performance e ai bugfix per il tethering, il launcher e alcuni sensori, il changelog completo include tutta una serie di piccoli cambiamenti, che potete leggere in dettaglio nell'apposita sezione a fine articolo.

Boot animation

With our Marshmallow flavour a beautiful boot animation was released. One which was greatly accepted and loved by our community. With this new update we are introducing a fresh new boot animation made by Espen Flagtvedt Olsen - Our very own talented in-house designer. Sony devices

We're overwhelmed by the response of the community. Over a 1000 of you have replied to our survey regarding Sony devices. We already had two devices ready for a while and are happy to add the Xperia X (suzu) and the Xperia X Compact (kugo) to the lineup. We'll continue to keep the survey open as we decide which devices to support further.
