OnePlus 3/3T saranno aggiornati ad Android O, ma OnePlus 2 potrebbe non ricevere Nougat

Pete Lau, co-fondatore di OnePlus, ha rassicurato gli utenti degli attuali top di gamma dell'azienda: OnePlus 3 e OnePlus 3T saranno aggiornati ad Android O, quando disponibile.

Buone notizie quindi, ma non per tutti, perché una mail del supporto OnePlus lascia intendere che OnePlus 2 non riceverà mai Android Nougat.

La mail in questione, riportata su XDA (non ci è quindi possibile verificarne l'autenticità) afferma chiaramente che sono stati interrotti gli aggiornamenti per "i dispositivi datati", con riferimento a OnePlus 2.

Poco sotto però si parla di "updates and support", anche se probabilmente ci si riferisce ad un supporto generico ed al più alle patch di sicurezza.

Ricordiamo che l'azienda aveva promesso da tempo l'update a Nougat per OnePlus 2, ma che poi ha sempre taciuto in merito, ed il silenzio, in questi casi, non è quasi mai foriero di buone notizie.
