LG avrà auricolari B&O Play, a conferma del suo impegno sul fronte audio
LG ci aveva già svelato che V20 sarà il primo smartphone al mondo con quad DAC, ma a quanto pare la fame di audio dell'azienda coreana non si è esaurita qui. LG V20 vanterà infatti le "best-in-class audio function" sviluppate in partnership con B&O Play, con la quale LG aveva già collaborato per uno dei moduli di LG G5.
Proprio questo fatto è curioso: le due aziende potrebbero semplicemente essersi trovate bene assieme, oppure questo è un indizio sulla modularità di V20. Forse stiamo correndo troppo, perché nel comunicato c'è in effetti menzione del modulo Hi-Fi Plus, ma non di un suo ipotetico successore (magari funzionerà esso stesso).
Ciò che ci viene dato per certo, è che LG V20 includerà degli auricolari B&O Play ed anche una serie di wallpaper col logo B&O, ed ovviamente la certificazione B&O Play premium audio.
Insomma: è un'altra collaborazione tra due aziende diverse, nel tentativo di esaltare una caratteristica particolare (vedi Huawei e Leica), ma almeno in questo caso avrete qualcosa di concreto su cui basarvi (gli auricolari) e non solo co-ingegnerizzazioni e certificazioni.
SEOUL, Aug. 24, 2016 — LG Electronics (LG) revealed today that its upcoming LG V20 smartphone will feature best-in-class audio functions developed in partnership with B&O PLAY. B&O PLAY is a premium audio company making portable audio products and headphones, firmly grounded in 90 years of audio and design excellence, craftsmanship and product innovation from Bang & Olufsen.
LG and B&O PLAY worked closely together to bring the best sound to users by optimizing the audio capabilities of the V20 smartphone. Acoustic engineers collaborated to achieve B&O PLAY’s philosophy of delivering a natural and balanced sound in a portable package. To enhance the total experience, the V20 set will include a special pair of B&O PLAY earphones and a set of wallpapers designed for V20 which includes the official logo of B&O PLAY, as a certification of B&O PLAY premium audio.
