SlimPort Nano Console trasforma Android nel centro dell'intrattenimento e del lavoro
Slimport ed MHL sono due facce della stessa medaglia, e servono a collegare diversi dispositivi Android a monitor esterni, non da ultimo quello del televisore nel nostro salotto, per trasformare smartphone e tablet in qualcosa di più: console, media center o anche piccoli PC, con i quali lavorare comodamente tramite mouse e tastiera. Sull'onda di tutto questo, Analogix Semiconductor, creatrice di Slimport, presenta Nano Console, un box a cui collegare i nostri dispositivi, e che si occuperà di trasformarli in..."qualcosa di più", per l'appunto.

Non si tratta infatti di un dispositivo stand-alone, come il nome potrebbe anche far intuire, ma di una dock in cui inserire lo smartphone, dock che sarà poi collegata a TV o monitor, e con la quale potremo interagire grazie anche al telecomando wireless, chiamato non a caso Nano Remote, fornito in dotazione.
Di preciso non conosciamo ancora tutti i dettagli, ma l'apertura di un (per ora scarno) sito ufficiale ci lascia ben sperare. Nano Console sarà inoltre disponibile in pre-ordine a marzo 2015, con spedizione previste entro l'estate, ad un prezzo di circa 50$. A seguire il comunicato stampa originale.
