Oppo annuncia la Limited Edition di N1 con CyanogenMod: da dicembre sul mercato internazionale
Sappiamo ormai da tempo che Oppo N1 sarà il primo telefono ad essere spedito con CyanogenMod preinstallata, dato che in fase di ordine sarà possibile scegliere se utilizzare l'interfaccia ColorOS di Oppo, oppure il noto firmware custom.

Oppo mette quindi una firma sulla partnership con CM, rassicurando che OPPO N1 CyanogenMod Edition arriverà a dicembre, assieme all'edizione regolare di N1, e che il prezzo non cambierà in base all'OS impiegato (peccato anche che non ci dica quale sarà questo fatidico prezzo, che difficilmente immaginiamo contenuto).
La versione di CyanogenMod a bordo di N1 è stata ovviamente personalizzata in modo da sfruttare tutte le peculiarità dello smartphone, prima fra tutte le fotocamera rotante, ma anche il pannello touch posteriore o l'accessorio O-Click per comandare la fotocamera a distanza; e ancora, il double-tap to wake e altre gesture.
Questa particolare edizione limitata (non è chiaro se ci si riferisca o meno anche alla quantità della stessa) sarà inoltre dotata di adesivi e confezione personalizzata CyanogenMod, e avrà anche una custodia con le mascotte delle due aziende, Cid e Ollie.
La versione regolare di N1 invece, avrà la ColorOS (se vi foste persi il suo video di presentazione, cliccate qui), e supporterà l'installazione di CyanogenMod direttamente dalla recovery stock, senza bisogno di alcuna modifica o tanto meno dei permessi di root. Inoltre il firmware sarà anche pre-caricato (ma non installato), in modo che saranno davvero sufficienti un paio di clic per averlo a bordo.

OPPO recently unveiled the OPPO N1, an innovative device outfitted with a large 5.9” HD screen, rotating camera and a rear touch panel. Non-limited international OPPO N1 devices ship with OPPO’s ColorOS system, and will support the installation of CyanogenMod directly from the OPPO N1 stock recovery without the user needing to root and install a custom recovery.
In addition, it will come pre-loaded with CyanogenMod making it easy to flash CyanogenMod directly without downloading or transferring any files.
