SRCH2, HTC e la ricerca indicizzata

Proprio in questi giorni, HTC e SRCH2 hanno annunciato la propria partnership per portare questo motore di ricerca indicizzata su vari dispositivi della casa taiwanese e subito abbiamo pensato ad un Amazon-phone, soprattutto ricordando le voci in merito che si susseguono da qualche tempo.

Abbiamo quindi raggiunto gli esponenti di SRCH2 all'Apps World di Londra e abbiamo parlato un po’ di quella che si rivela essere una delle tecnologie più interessanti presenti alla fiera; l'idea di base è: cosa succederebbe se restassimo senza internet? Proprio per questo motivo nasce SRCH2, che indicizza tutto il contenuto del nostro dispositivo e ce lo presenta con una velocità davvero incredibile, ogni volta che ne avremo bisogno.

Il processo di base è quello di cercare all'interno del nostro Android qualsiasi stringa che sia simile a quella nella query, con una tolleranza degli errori tale da poter ignorare praticamente ogni typo che potremmo commettere.

A questo punto, quello che speriamo è che non sia solo HTC a sfruttare questa tecnologia, ma che si diffonda presto su altri Android, in modo tale che tutti possano goderne dei benefici, o, quantomeno, per la possibilità di avere comunque un'alternativa.
