Scalado Remove, la tecnologia che rimuove oggetti dalle foto

I nostri lettori più affezionati si ricorderanno di Touch Retouch, un'app che vi avevamo presentato qualche mese  fa e che avevamo anche messo a concorso, in grado di rimuovere particolari indesiderati da un'immagine, ebbene la tecnologia Remove di Scalado promette di fare qualcosa di simile, ma in maniera diversa.

Non stiamo parlando di un'app, ma di una tecnologia appunto, che sarà fornita a produttori del calibro di Sony Ericsson, Motorola, HTC ed altri, che la potranno includere direttamente nei loro modelli.

Quando state catturando una foto dovrete toccare ogni oggetto in movimento che volete eliminare dallo scatto e "magicamente" questo non apparirà, lasciando nel contempo inalterato tutto ciò che è statico: l'ideale per scattare una foto in un affollato paesaggio urbano, ad esempio.

Quando la vedremo nei terminali in commercio? Difficile dirlo, ma come per tutte le novità di questo periodo aspetteremo l'MWC per saperne di più, ingannando l'attesa col seguente video.

"Remove" automatically deletes unwanted details in captured imaging

Remove is a technology that automatically highlights and removes any unwanted object from a captured photo. It is the world’s first Object removal software to be released on a mobile device.

Remove solves common photographic problems with unwanted objects in captured images, such as people getting i
n the way of our camera shot. Remove detects and selects the unwanted objects which simply can be removed automatically or by touching the selections on the screen or after capturing the image.

Last year Scalado released several innovations, e.g. the Rewind technology which allows the users to capture perfect group shots by automatically selecting the best shots in a burst and merging them into one perfect image. Rewind is already shipping in millions of mobile phones..
