Logitech ammette un problema di frame rate sul Revue

Logitech Revue. Ovvero: come trasformo la tua TV con ingresso HDMI in una Google TV! Bello vero?! Peccato che non tutti gli utenti che l'hanno potuta acquistare in America ne siano rimasti soddisfatti, in particolare durante la visione di immagini in rapido movimento, tipiche delle trasmissioni sportive o dei film d'azione.

Le lamentele circa il calo di frame rate in queste situazioni sono state così numerose che Logitech non ha potuto far finta di nulla ed è già al lavoro per trovare una soluzione.

L'inconveniente non era proprio trascurabile in un prodotto di questo tipo, ma non ci sentiamo di condannare Logitech, soprattutto per la celerità e disponibilità dimostrare nell'affrontare il problema, come testimonia anche il seguente comunicato:

Thank you for your feedback about Logitech Revue causing the TV picture to skip frames and for sharing information about your home entertainment setup. With your help we have been able to confirm that in some cases Logitech Revue is dropping video frames, resulting in a staggered image.

Logitech and the Google TV team are working hard to find the root cause of this issue and to develop a solution, which we will share with you as soon as it is available. We will keep you updated on our progress through this forum thread.
