[Kernel - .33.2]intersectRaven's Kernel (Hybrid AVS *STABLE*
- aumento dell'audio (grazie a rotohammer )
- 8MB extra di memoria ricavata dalla camera.apk based on pershoot's code modifications which were based from coolbho3k
- ethernet e wifi tethering abilitati (riferite possibili problemi)
- numerose ottimizzazioni del compilatore (work in progress - lavori in corso)
- tutte le power governors della CPU per l'utente dependent tweaking of power saving
- STABLE Hybrid AVS (Adaptive Voltage Scaling combined with Static Voltage Scaling) support for maximum possible power savings dependent on CPU requirements
- for OC version, please go to Ivan's DIET kernel which now also has the stable AVS version
Ultimo Changelog:
Changelog:
20100510_2222_.34-rc7:
- updated plenty of drivers including one which addressed PCM output skipping which *may* be related to the audio skipping problem
20100510_1424_.34-rc7:
- reverted integration with Termana's patch since it's causing instabilities with some builds it seems
20100510_1246_.34-rc7:
- updated to .34-rc7
20100510_1151_.34-rc6:
- integrated some things from Termana's patch which affects memory management and CPU scheduler
20100509_2219_.34-rc6:
- first complete .34-rc6+ kernel (rc6+ since it's synchronized with linus' kernel tree which is updated extremely frequently)
- compass now works
- everything seems fine according to my preliminary tests
- all equivalent features of the .33.3 kernel are implemented
20100508_21XX-22XX:
- updated to latest cyanogen commit reverting a change with the ondemand governor which was causing sluggishness
20100508_19XX:
- updated to latest cyanogen commits
*pmtest kernels will not be released anymore...instead .33.4 will be released soon...
20100507_17XX:
- updated to latest cyanogen commits
- turned off profiling as per latest cyanogen commit
20100507_08XX:
- rebuilt kernel source from latest cyanogen commits to get rid of accumulated junk along the way
20100506_14XX-15XX:
- updated to latest cyanogen commits
- 21MB memory hack v2
- 800mV represented by #1 925mV by #2 in kernel string
- indicates CFS or BFS in kernel string as well
20100504_13XX:
- updated to latest cyanogen commits
- 21MB memory hack (although what's weird is I'm not getting the same memory as coolbho3k...it's about 8KB short... )
20100503_16XX:
- synchronized with Cyan's latest GitHub commits
- now compiled using my custom maker v2 which can now handle multiple builds with no change to the core script
- CFS and BFS are now going to be released
- made a tweak to further improve battery life
20100502_2215:
- enabled loop unrolling
*this made the kernel size larger so there is a risk that this won't work with all N1s out there especially those with bad sectors in their boot partition
- changed compiler again to latest CodeSourcery toolchain (has even more optimizations for ARM)
20100429_1009:
- fixed the excessive battery drain problem with the previous versions
20100428_0934:
- modified minimum voltage to 925
*the equivalent 800mV build is on my MediaFire folder for those who want to do a scientific comparison
20100427_2125:
- VFP hardcoded to use VFPv3 optimizations
- enabled the 3 ARM errata
- switched temporarily to deadline scheduler as a test (seems faster now...will have to take it for a longer test spin...post your results!!!)
20100427_1352:
- rolled back driver to last functional version
- merged .33.3 mainline from kernel.org
20100426_0852:
- rolled back LZO support
- updated to latest cyan commits
- uses universal update.zip format by koush
*please flash a previous boot.img before using the universal update.zip of this version*
20100425_0721:
- now supports LZO compressed ramdisks (update.zip version also has ramdisk which is compressed using LZO which *SEEMS* to be a second or two faster when booting)
*If you flash the update.zip version, you CANNOT use fastboot to flash to a different kernel since the ramdisk is in LZO. To avoid this, use the fastboot version.
20100424_1336:
- latest github commits by cyan
- changed options to match pershoot's xtra options (deadline, block devices, etc.) with the exception of ARM errata
