Un ristretto gruppo di utenti comuni sta testando Marshmallow su Motorola Moto X Style

Circa una settimana fa, alcuni possessori di Moto X Style (Pure per gli Stati Uniti) hanno ricevuto un invito per testare un nuovo aggiornamento, di cui però Motorola non specificava la natura: nonostante alcuni sospetti fondati, adesso è possibile affermare con assoluta certezza che si tratta di Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

A confermarlo è stato David Schuster di Motorola, tramite un post sulla sua pagina di Google+:

There have been a couple reports of a Marshmallow “soak test” that has started for Moto X 2015 Pure Edition. Just want to make it clear that we have NOT started a formal “soak test”. We have started a small TestDrive for the Marshmallow upgrade on Moto X 2015 Pure Edition. We will be conducting these tests for the next couple of weeks. Pending the feedback during this test cycle will determine the timing of a full soak test.

Non si tratta dunque di un test particolarmente esteso, magari ad un determinato stato prima del rilascio su larga scala, ma di un test condotto su un ristretto numero di utenti, il cui feedback determinerà la tempistica dell'ampliamento del test su una scala più grande.
