Remix Mini Kickstarter - 2

Remix Mini raggiunge 250.000 dollari su Kickstarter in 27 ore, il mezzo milione è imminente

Andrea Centorrino -

Remix Mini Hits Quarter Million Dollars in Just 27 hours
Android PC box poised to positively impact millions

July 9, 2015 – (Beijing) – Remix Mini successfully hit $250,000 in 27 hours after launch on Kickstarter, with a further 43 days to go in its campaign. As the second successful Kickstarter campaign from Jide Technology, the Remix Mini has the potential to positively impact millions around the world as an affordable computer for everyone at just $20.

Remix Mini is simple to use and connects to any screen, keyboard and mouse, allowing you to use it as you would any other computer and browse the internet, download and watch videos, create documents, and run any Android app or game. It can even help you save up to 10% in energy costs when compared to traditional tower desktop PCs.

Android is the most popular OS in the world and runs in phones and tablets while Android Wear, Android Auto and Android TV have entered into their respective spaces, it has yet to be adapted for ease of use and productivity in PCs. The idea of a productively useful Android PC has remained elusive in the market.

“We are overwhelmed with how this campaign has gone in just over 24 hours,” said Jeremy Chau, Jide’s CEO explained. “We had a feeling that we were building the a device that people needed and wanted but to have it validated at this speed and scale is quite astonishing and inspiring. We humbly give thanks to all of our backers since the start of our campaign and know that the real work lies ahead in building the best user experience possible with Remix Mini and Remix OS.”
