HTC Desire Eye: caratteristiche tecniche e disponibilità del selfie phone

HTC Desire Eye è stato annunciato ufficialmente (assieme ad HTC RE), dopo le moltissime voci al riguardo che hanno popolato le ultime settimane. Lo smartphone è quello trapelato pochi giorni fa, almeno nell'aspetto, ma abbiamo ora modo di guardarlo molto più da vicino nei render ufficiali HTC, e di scoprirne ogni dettaglio.

Il quadro tecnico non dice comunque tutto di uno smartphone che, sulla carta, ha forse solo una batteria un po' più piccola di quanto avremmo voluto, ma che non si fa mancare nient'altro: né i doppi speaker frontali BoomSound, racchiusi questa volta in una sottile linea che separa le due colorazioni della faccia anteriore dello smartphone, né i tre microfoni per un audio ottimale, e nemmeno la certificazione di impermeabilità per 30 minuti fino ad un metro di profondità o il tasto dedicato alla fotocamera.

Da notare inoltre che HTC Desire Eye monta una nano SIM.

Il software di HTC Desire Eye - L'hardware è però come sempre solo una metà della storia: abbiamo infatti quella che HTC chiama Eye Experience, ovvero nuove funzioni per la fotocamera, tra cui il face tracking che tiene sempre perfettamente incorniciate fino a 4 persone diverse, durante video chiamate e conferenze su Skype, ad esempio. E per condividere ancora di più c'è anche lo screen sharing. Grazie alla funzione Split Capture è possibile combinare varie foto e video catturate dalle due fotocamera in un'immagine o un video in split-screen. Crop-Me-In permette invece di ritagliare la nostra immagine, catturata dalla fotocamera anteriore, e posizionarla in quella scattata dalla fotocamera sul retro. <strong">Voice Selfie permette di scattare con un semplice comando vocale, come "cheese" o “smile”, oppure di registrare un video con “action” o “rolling”.

Face fusion, ci permette di unire il nostro volto a quello di un'altra persona per risultati divertenti, e Live Makeup consente di aggiustare il tono della pelle e di altri effetti in real-time, prima di scattare la foto. Ci sono novità anche in ambito Zoe, con il video-editing collaborativo che consentirà agli amici di mescolare i propri contenuti ai nostri: Zoe 1.0 sarà disponibile gratuitamente su Android.

Disponibilità HTC Desire Eye - Lo smartphone sarà disponibile nei principali mercati a partire da ottobre 2014, ad un prezzo non ancora comunicato. HTC Eye Experience arriverà sotto forma di aggiornamento software anche su: HTC One (M7), HTC One (M8), HTC One E8, HTC One mini, HTC One mini 2, HTC One max, HTC Desire 816, HTC Desire 820 e HTC Butterfly 2 nei mesi successivi.
