Samsung Galaxy K Zoom è ufficiale: il nuovo camera phone dell'azienda coreana, che quest'anno non segue le orme del top di gamma di turno, e anziché chiamarsi Galaxy S5 Zoom opta invece per un nome tutto suo, che in qualche modo lo distingue ulteriormente da S5, e che ci porta nuovamente a pensare al fantomatico Galaxy F, che potrebbe arrivare fra un paio di mesi.

Tornando in tema, Galaxy K Zoom si presenta più snello del suo predecessore, "più smartphone", ma senza tradire la vocazione per le foto, grazie allo zoom ottico 10x ed al sensore BSI da 20,7 megapixel con stabilizzatore ottico dell'immagine (OIS).

Il flash allo Xenon contribuisce a fornire quella luce in più quando serve, ed anche il software fa la sua parte, in particolare con le funzioni AF/AE Separation (Auto Focus / Auto Esposizione separati) per bilanciare luce e nitidezza in modo indipendente, Pro Suggest mode che offre 5 filtri ottimizzati, Selfie Alarm che è dedicata agli auto-scatti, e object tracing per una messa a fuoco impeccabile anche di soggetti in movimento.

Ciascuna di queste funzioni è accompagnata da un'interfaccia utente semplice e pratica, almeno nelle intenzioni di Samsung, in modo da permettere la cattura di ottime foto e video (in full HD) in ogni situazione, anche agli utenti meno esperti.
