Blackphone, lo smartphone che protegge la privacy, avrà SoC NVIDIA Tegra 4i

È uno degli smartphone più interessanti che abbiamo visto negli ultimi mesi, non tanto per le caratteristiche tecniche più potenti quanto più per le funzionalità mirate a proteggere la nostra privacy durante l'uso dello smartphone: si chiama Blackphone ed arriverà durante il mese di giugno.

Mentre lo aspettiamo, il quadro delle sue specifiche tecniche è sempre più completo: a bordo troviamo un display da 4,7 pollici IPS HD e 16 GB di memoria interna espandibile, Android 4.4 KitKat, batteria da 2.000 mAh, fotocamere da 8 e 5 megapixel, e da oggi sappiamo che Blackphone avrà un SoC NVIDIA Tegra 4i, con modem LTE incorporato.

Geneva, April 28, 2014.‐ SGP Technologies SA, the Switzerland‐based joint venture of Silent
Circle and Geeksphone behind Blackphone, announced today that it has selected the NVIDIA
Tegra 4i  mobile processor to power Blackphone, giving users unmatched mobile performance
and  – with  SGP's  PrivatOS suite of Android™ tool  and bundled software  – the privacy for
protecting confidential business and personal communications and Internet activity.
SGP selected Tegra 4i for its superior multimedia, web browsing and networking experiences
while supporting Blackphone's unprecedented array of integrated privacy features and services.
Tegra 4i has 60 custom GPU cores; a quad‐core CPU based on ARM's Cortex‐A9 r4 CPU, plus a
fifth battery‐saver core; and an integrated NVIDIA i500 LTE modem.

dispositivo durante el Mobile World Congress 2014 de Barcelona, y se agotó rápidamente la
