Samsung annuncia ufficialmente la quarta serie dei suoi Galaxy Tab, disponibile nei tre formati da 7, 8 e 10,1 pollici, che dovrebbero essere disponibili globalmente già ad aprile.

Sono tutti modelli basati su KitKat, ma soprattutto hanno tutti la stessa risoluzione: WXGA (1.280 x 800 pixel), al contrario del WQXGA (2.560 x 1.600) a cui si pensava prima del rilascio. La cosa ha in effetti un suo senso, dato che Samsung ha già una serie di tablet in altissima risoluzione, ovvero i Galaxy Tab PRO.

Ulteriori punti a comune sono il processore quad-core, la RAM di 1,5 GB, la memoria interna espandibile, le fotocamera da 3 e 1,3 megapixel, e la presenza, opzionale, della radio 3G/LTE.
