LG e Qualcomm confermano lo Snapdragon 800 nella prossima serie Optimus G
Casomai aveste ancora qualche dubbio su quale processore animerà l'Optimus G2 (o come si chiamerà), Qualcomm ed LG hanno appena diramato un comunicato stampa congiunto che spazza via ogni altra ipotesi, e ci spiega che verrà impiegato lo Snapdragon 800 perché in grado di conferire "un'esperienza mobile definitiva" (e i benchmark sembrano dargli ragione).
Qualcomm ribadisce anche il supporto del proprio chip all'LTE-Advanced, tanto per sottolineare che non sarà certo un'esclusiva del SoC di Samsung, mentre sul fronte performance viene nuovamente citato l'incremento del 75% rispetto all'S4 Pro a bordo di Optimus G (ma anche di Nexus 4, o Xperia Z, tanto per fare due nomi).
In ogni caso avremo senz'altro modo di saggiare la bontà dello Snapdragon 800, ma per adesso vi lasciamo al comunicato stampa in oggetto, che mette quindi a tacer parte dei "rumor" sui prossimi Optimus G (attenzione che si parla di "serie", quindi presumibilmente più di un modello, come del resto già adesso abbiamo Optimus G, e G Pro).
