ASUS Padfone Infinity ufficiale: 5 pollici Full HD e Snapdragon 600 a 999 euro

Sapevamo già da stamattina che sarebbe stato presentato un nuovo Padfone ed è stato svelato oggi durante l'MWC di Barcellona: non si chiama ASUS Padfone 3,bensì ASUS Padfone Infinity, ma la sostanza non cambia, è un nuovo Padfone, con hardware aggiornato e messo alla pari con i top di gamma di questo 2013, anche se possiamo dire senza problemi che il secondo Padfone era ancora troppo giovane per essere già rimpiazzato.

E' molto simile esteticamente alla seconda versione del Padfone, ma a differenza del predecessore monta Android 4.2 preinstallato, e usa il nuovo SoC Snapdragon 600 di Qualcomm, con GPU Adreno 320; anche il display è stato migliorato, passando da 4,7 a 5 pollici nello smartphone, con risoluzione che passa da HD a Full HD (441 ppi), e anche il display da 10,1 pollici del tablet avrà una risoluzione pari a 1920x1200. La RAM resta invece a 2 GB, così come i tagli di memoria da 32 o 64 GB, mentre la batteria passa da 2.140 mAh a 2.400 mAh.

Migliorata anche la fotocamera da 13 megapixel f2.0, mentre per quanto riguarda la connettività la dotazione è standard per un top di gamma nel 2013, e quindi sarà dotato di LTE.

Il nuovo gioiellino di ASUS sarà in vendita al prezzo di 999 euro (per la versione da 64 GB + tablet), ma non è stata specificata una data precisa. Aggiorneremo l'articolo all'arrivo di nuove informazioni; a seguire il comunicato stampa di ASUS:

Share apps and mobile data instantly
The unique two-in-one nature of ASUS PadFone™ removes the tedious need to synchronize data between smartphone and tablet. Data and settings on PadFone™ Infinity are available instantly on PadFone™ Infinity Station upon docking, and running apps are smoothly reformatted to fit the larger display. Mobile data bills are also reduced, since a single data plan can be shared between both devices.
PadFone™ Infinity comes with new and exclusive ASUS apps, including SuperNote 3.1 for note taking, Story for creating stunning photo albums and ASUS Echo for voice control of PadFone™ Infinity.
PadFone™ Infinity has up to 19 hours of 3G talk time*, which increases to up to 40 hours when docked into PadFone™ Infinity Station. PadFone™ Infinity Station also has sufficient battery capacity to fully recharge the docked PadFone™ Infinity up to three times.
