Archos presenta altri tre tablet della linea Titanium

Archos ha da poco svelato un'intera gamma di nuovi tablet Titanium: il primo è il 97 Titanium HD del quale avevamo già accennato, e che vanta un display Retina da 2048×1536 pixel, gli altri si chiameranno 70 Titanium, 80 Titanium e 101 Titanium. Come da tradizione Archos, i numeri indicano la diagonale del display in pollici, quindi avremo a che fare rispettivamente con un 7'', un 8'' e un 10.1''.

Non sappiamo al momento tutte le specifiche esatte, ma a quanto pare condivideranno il medesimo (innominato) processore a 1,6 GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 con GPU quad-core e supporto al decoding video fino a 1080p. Tutti i display saranno IPS, e tutti i tablet saranno realizzati in alluminio, mentre il sistema operativo sarà Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Le informazioni più interessanti giungono però sul fronte del prezzo, che è già stato comunicato per ciascun tablet:

  • Archos 70 Titanium: 119€
  • Archos 80 Titanium: 169€
  • Archos 101 Titanium: 199€
  • Archos 97 Titanium HD: 249€

Viste le cifre tanto aggressive, difficilmente immaginiamo un modulo 3G a bordo, ma in ogni caso un tablet da 9,7'' Retina a 250€ rimane comunque un bel traguardo.

Per non parlare degli altri. Speriamo quindi di poterci tornare sopra quanto prima, con informazioni più complete sulle specifiche tecniche e sui tempi di rilascio.

The ARCHOS 70 titanium (7 inches), priced at 119€, $119, £99 offers similar features to competitors such as Amazon, at a better price point.

The ARCHOS 80 titanium (8 inches), priced at 169€, $169, £149 has been designed to offer similar user experience as the iPad mini, for a fraction of the price.

The ARCHOS 101 titanium (10.1 inches), priced at 199€, $199, £169, is around 30 per cent cheaper than competition with comparable features.

The ARCHOS 97 titanium HD (9.7 inches), with a resolution up to 2048 x 1536 pixels is priced at 249€, $249 and £199, and aims to be an alternative to the new iPad for half the price.
