Oggi non è solo il giorno del lancio del Galaxy S III per Samsung, perché a quanto pare l’azienda coreana aveva un altro asso nella manica che finora ha sapientemente tenuto celato agli occhi del mondo, ovvero il “potenziamento” del suo Music Hub, che ora diventa uno store musicale completo che punta direttamente a rivaleggiare con gli analoghi di Apple e Google.
Gli utenti inglesi, francesi e tedeschi (così vicini, così lontani) potranno infatti beneficiare di un servizio di streaming che andrà a pescare da un catalogo di 19 milioni di brani, con 100 GB di spazio nella cloud per utente: ovviamente servizi simili non vengono certo gratis, ma al costo di 9,99€ al mese. Per chi invece non volesse invece sottoscrivere l’abbonamento, ci sarà sempre la possibilità di ascoltare le tracce acquistate, sia da telefono che tramite un’interfaccia web.
Il nuovo Music Hub diventerà uno standard nei futuri modelli dell’azienda, e non parliamo necessariamente solo di telefoni, inoltre il servizio sarà in seguito distribuito su scala globale, sebbene non abbiamo indicazioni precise né sui tempi né sui paesi coinvolti, in ogni caso lo scopo è renderlo diffuso tanto quanto l’app di messaggistica ChatON.
