HTC Magic T-Mobile riceverà Froyo domani
E' stata una storia travagliata quella del T-Mobile myTouch 3G (in Italia HTC Magic). Il terminale è stato più volte dichiarato incapace di sostenere un aggiornamento ufficiale ad un firmware 2.0 o più, mentre T-Mobile ha smentito questa voce affermando che il telefono "non sarebbe rimasto indietro".
E così sembra che sarà. Dopo una storia durata più di un anno, il firmware del myTouch 3G (fermo ad Android 1.6) verrà finalmente aggiornamento a Froyo 2.2 senza nessun passaggio intermedio. Molto corposo il changelog che riportiamo (in inglese) in fondo all'articolo.
Difficile credere che anche gli utenti italiani verranno premiati per l'attesa come sarà per gli statunitensi ma per chi ha ancora qualche speranza, probabilmente vale la pena aspettare ancora qualche settimana.
Primary Improvements Included with This Update
• New Fully Integrated Exchange Client
